Our family has been farming in Connecticut for five generations. Farmer Joe's Gardens is located on family land that has been a chicken farm, geese farm, turkey farm, and apple orchard. The land is now growing vegetables and plants to continue the tradition. Farming remains a cornerstone in Wallingford, Connecticut, and our family intends to be part of it long into the future. Our mission is to share the flavors and nutrition of farm grown products with everyone. We want everyone who visits our farm and farm store to share a bit of farm culture. We hope this experience is remembered when enjoying our farm fresh products. Throughout the year we offer a large variety of plants and fresh vegetables to include: annuals, vegetable plants, hanging baskets, mixed planters, herbs, tomatoes, sweet corn (you won't even need butter), peppers, eggplant, string beans, squash, cabbage, and cucumbers. Connecticut farms are thriving and growing in new and exciting ways. Our farm produces garden plants and a bounty of healthy, fresh food available in our farm store.
