ASAP has served as Arizona's finest outpatient substance abuse counseling program dedicated only to serve teens ages 12-18 since 1991. ASAP is a pioneering Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) for substance in teens, with each teen's parents participating in the treatment as well. Group therapy is held three nights/week for 10 weeks. Drug testing is a critical component. Three sites cover the entire Phoenix metro area-- Scottsdale, Mesa, and Glendale. Of course, the entire IOP Program is currently held online for your safety. ASAP has been dedicated to research-based, evidenced-based, best-practices interventions since its inception, and theories and techniques such as Stages of Change and Motivational Interviewing are the focus. All private health insurance is accepted, including of course Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, United, and many more-- and now several AHCCCS plans are accepted as well.
