Pasargad Steel Complex (P.J.S.) is a 100% privately owned company. Our aim is to produce high quality steel products as per highest prevalent international standards. The execution of the first phase of investment was begun in April 2009. The investment consisted of a complete melt-shop (EAF/LF/CCM) with a capacity of 1.5 Mtpy of steel billets using steel scrap and DRI as feeding material. State of the art equipment were procured in order for the plant to operate with highest efficiency at lowest energy consumption levels. Environmental concerns have played a major part in the plant design and selection of the equipment in order to ensure an environmentally friendly plant. Currently the plant is at the end of equipment erection stage and we expect commissioning in March 2012. The execution of the second and third phase of investment which includes pelletizing plant, DRI plant, and rolling mills for production of wire rod, bars and medium sections is planned to start in the second half of 2012. Our plant encompasses an area of 300 hectares and is located 70 Kilometers south of city of Shiraz in Fars Province of Iran.
