The Medtech and In vitro Diagnostic Co-operatives (MICs) funding scheme is the Department of Health and Social Care umbrella for the National Institute for Healthcare Research (NIHR) programme. The MIC works with patients, clinician and academics to provide a ‘go-to’ centre of expertise for understanding the market, regulatory and funding landscape for technological innovators (start ups and SMEs) providing improvements in the brain injury patient pathway.
