Agromin

www.agromin.com

Agromin, with facilities throughout California, manufactures earth-friendly soil products for farmers, government entities, landscapers and gardeners. Agromin is the organics recycler for over 200 California communities, making it one of the largest organics recyclers in the state. Agromin's California Compost helps cities, counties and other jurisdictions get in and stay in compliance with California SB 1383. The law is designed to reduce statewide methane emissions to combat climate change by mandating jurisdictions to capture more of their organic waste, recycle these materials and use the resulting mulch and compost in parks, landscaped medians and other public spaces. Agromin is uniquely qualified for the task. Each year, Agromin receives more than 400,000 tons of organic material and then uses a safe, natural and sustainable process to transform the material into premium soil products. Farmers use Agromin compost, mulches and other soil products to help grow a variety of their vegetables and fruits including strawberries, celery, tomatoes, lemon and avocados. Landscapers use Agromin products to create lush landscapes for public, business and consumer projects. Backyard gardeners find Agromin planting mixes and soil amendments produce healthier vegetables, flowers and trees--while using less water and keeping down weeds and pests. Agromin soil products can be found in landscapes along freeways, on municipal sites, in school and community gardens, museums, hotels--just about everywhere quality soil is needed. Agromin's soil products contribute to a greener world by conserving water, preventing erosion, reducing harmful Green House Gas (GHG) emissions, and decreasing the use of oil-based fertilizers and chemicals. As a company, our thinking goes beyond the premium soil products we produce. We are continually seeking new ways to create products that lead to soil preservation and to lay the groundwork for a more sustainable future.
