National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NI-MSME) is the pioneering National Institute under the aegis of the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India that has been instrumental in conducting several outstanding training programs/ research / consultancy studies since 1962. NI-MSME has been doing pioneering work in the field of entrepreneurship, enterprise and cluster development ever since its inception. The institute has initiated several specialized programs right from executive development to feasibility survey and analysis, and capacity building programs for young engineers, technocrats, IAS / IES officers, employees of State and Central PSU. Vision To emerge as one of the best global entrepreneurship institute that supports start-ups, micro, small and medium enterprises at each and every step of their business journey. ni-msme aims to bring forth leaders with a global outreach, who will use their potential to engage with businesses and society to make a valuable difference. Achievements The institute has trained 4,94,928 participants by organizing 14,826 programs that includes prospective/ existing entrepreneurs, start-ups, SMEs and government officials. The institute has trained 9,817 International Executives from more than 142 countries till March 2018. The institute has undertaken and accomplished 938 research and consultancy projects till March 2018.
