Hello, my name is Brooke and I am an independent woman with extensive experience in holistic care, disability and mental health care, and childcare. I have a strong inclination towards social justice and advocacy. I am passionate about helping people and hope to make every moment count. I am honest, respectful, reliable and bubbly, and love being around people and hearing their stories. I believe that we can all learn from one other’s experiences, and that to develop, or unpack life, is a team effort that takes compassion, empathy, and strategy. I have worked with children and young people for over five years, and have been involved in disability and mental health for infancy to older adulthood in an employed position for almost four years. I have worked with Indigenous clients and a variety of other minority groups, and am always respectful of cultural differences. I have a certificate in Chaplaincy, have studied High-school education, and have volunteered with many youth programs and homeless shelters. I am currently completing my Bachelor of Social Work at Curtin University. I have a driver’s license, comprehensive insurance, public liability insurance, working with children's check and recent police clearance.
