The Mission of the Coastal Bend Regional Advisory Council is to reduce death/disability related to trauma, acute illness, injury, and disaster through implementation of appropriate education and well-planned and coordinated disaster and emergency response systems. We are also the HHS Hospital Preparedness Program management contractor for our AOR. CBRAC is a non-profit 501(c)3. Our area of responsibility includes the South Texas counties of Starr, Hidalgo, Willacy, Cameron, Refugio, Aransas, San Patricio, Nueces, Kleberg, Kenedy, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, Live Oak, Bee, McMullen, Webb, Jim hogg, and Zapata.
