Alpha Phi Omega - Iota Phi
www.iotaphi.orgAlpha Phi Omega is a co-ed collegiate community service fraternity that strives to develop three cardinal principles: Leadership, Friendship, and Service. The Iota Phi chapter at UC Davis is among the largest in the nation, with members serving more than 10,000 hours in the Davis community each year. Leadership: Alpha Phi Omega develops the leadership skills of its members through shared leadership. Our members have the opportunity to serve as a chapter officer or to plan and execute any number of volunteer projects and social programs, as well as have the chance to participate in a variety of leadership development programs sponsored by Alpha Phi Omega. These programs consist of both online and in-person workshops and are presented by trained volunteer staff, to improve leadership skills for work within APO and in their professional lives. Friendship: The surest way to have a friend, is to be a friend. Service: The Iota Phi chapter of Alpha Phi Omega annually performs over 10,000 hours of service to Davis and the surrounding areas, working with schools, food banks, and community leaders.
