The New Zealand Veterinary Association (NZVA) is the only membership association representing New Zealand veterinarians. With over 2,000 members we are the leading voice for New Zealand veterinarians. Our 15 Special Interest Branches and 14 Regional Branches provide specialist and local support to our members, and wider industry and sector partners, promoting excellence in the veterinary profession. We are committed to safeguarding the high skills and standards of the New Zealand veterinary profession – ensuring the profession's contribution to the country's economy, and animal health and welfare is of the highest quality. We believe the veterinary profession is integral to improving animal health, wellbeing, and the status of animals in our society whether companion, production, wildlife, research, or sport and recreation.
