my.vanderbilt.eduThe Vanderbilt Design Studio is a rapid-prototyping facility of the Vanderbilt School of Engineering. Equipped with 3D printers, a laser cutter and various other tools and electronics, we provide the materials and the maker space needed to transform an engineering idea into a physical prototype. Our student mentors range from mechanical to electrical to computer engineers. They not only serve the makers at the build stage of a product, but also at the design phase with their CAD, thermal engineering and mechatronics skills.
