6 Bears & A Goat is a 15 bbl microbrewery & restaurant brewery in Fredericksburg, VA. We are named for our seven founders: six retirees from the U.S. Coast Guard (the Bears) and one from the U.S. Navy (the Goat). Our beer philosophy: create recipes with a distinguishable but subtle enhancement, staying true to style while enriching the customer with “simply better brew”. Our purpose is simple: create an environment with quality beer and food, where the community can gather, share stories and have some fun…great beer, great food, great atmosphere.
