We are a project high based school where students exhibit their learning through extensive applied projects. These projects live on outside of the classroom and make a substantial and authentic impact on our neighborhood. Our mission is to cultivate thriving, self sustaining communities through the development of academically rounded, civically invested, and progressive young adults. Legacy Academy is the vision of community members and educators who recognize the causes of low student performance and engagement. We also recognize that these problems have patterns and they span generations of families. If we want students who are better prepared for academic success, then we must look to simultaneously develop adults that can foster a successful community.
