National University of Water and Environmental Engineering (NUWEE) - is the leading higher educational institution in the field of a water management, leading in Ukraine educational institution who prepare experts in the area of water and environmental management in accordance to the government program. An institution it is accredited and licensed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for learning specialists with qualification level of junior specialist, bachelor, specialist, master (including for foreign citizens). The university preparing students on 22 areas of knowledge in 31 directions and 40 specialties. Academic staff of university are 709 teachers, including 54 doctors of science, professors, 374 PhD, associate professors. The research and educational personnel prepares through postgraduate study and doctoral studies. Preparation in postgraduate study is carried out on 27, and in doctoral studies - on 6 specialties. Annually in postgraduate study prepared more than 160 postgraduate students. At university 6 specialized academic councils on protection of theses, from them 2 councils for protection of doctoral dissertations work with the right of acceptance to protection of master's theses and 4 on protection of master's theses.
