Empowering youth through education and skills. Youth Rocks Foundation (YRF) is a non- profit organisation dedicated towards youth empowerment for the last 4 years. We believe that every youth rocks , and has immense potential and tremendous energy, just waiting to be channelized in the right direction. Our mission is to ensure that every youth is able to realize his/ her potential and live a fuller life irrespective of the background and circumstances. We work for their Career, Health, Financial Literacy, Relationship Management and Self Management. At our training center in Clement Town, Dehradun we test youth for their aptitude and personality, we prepare youth for continuing their education, preparing for interviews, speaking English, finding jobs, starting their own work, sending them to the right training centers, connecting them to the right people and learning life skills to lead a better life. With this long term vision YRF has launched its first long term project called PROJECT PAHAL. In this project we conduct life skills workshops for students, teachers and parents . Project Pahal aims to collaborate with schools for long lasting transformations especially for underprivileged children studying at Government schools in India . The proposed program of year- long interactive sessions with students, parents and teachers aims to bring all the stakeholders together to a common ground of empathy, compassion and support for each other. When the three pillars of school system start collaborating instead of confronting each other, miracles happen! The core areas we focus on are Youth empowerment, livelihood enhancement and child welfare.
