The International Humanitarian Peel Youth Council is a youth-run organization in support of the Canadian Red Cross, aiming to raise awareness and funds for various local, national, and international Red Cross initiatives. The team is made up of a 9-member Board of Directors and 50 ambassadors across the Peel district. Hurricane Matthew Relief efforts and the International Disaster Relief Fund; causes for this year will be announced soon, so stay tuned! Originally the Peel Red Cross Youth Action Group, IHPYC has since branched out to focus on our own specific mission statement. However, IHPYC continues to remain in support of the Canadian Red Cross and its initiatives.
