At Amba Health & Care Ltd our passion is keeping older people safe, well, and living independently for longer. We combine beautiful products, the latest medical technology with a simple application to keep older people safe and well in their own homes while giving carers and families peace of mind. The company was founded in 2020 by CEO, Stuart Hamilton with an intent to help tackle the growing care crisis in the UK and around the world. Although a start-up, Amba has already hit some impressive milestones. We won funding from Innovate UK to research and develop the application and launched a beta version in June 2021. Rounding off 2021 Amba Health & Care Ltd secured a first-round investment and acquired the development company CookiesHQ and with it, the dedicated team behind the application design and build, allowing Amba to rapidly scale its development capacity.
