For three weeks each summer, the City of London Festival bursts open the square mile's extraordinary places and spaces to present a wide-ranging programme of handpicked artists from across the globe. With everything from comedy to classical, circus to cabaret, we’ve been cramming the City with top-class culture since 1962. The Festival strives to exceed expectations and every year hosts over 200 events in over 50 incredible venues, from the London Symphony Orchestra in St Paul's Cathedral to intimate chamber recitals in the City's beautiful hidden livery halls. The Festival has squeezed singers in skyscrapers, jazz bands in banks and even put death defying circus in an inflatable Bowler Hat!
