The mission of the UT Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department is to provide exceptional education and training in oral and maxillofacial surgery for both predoctoral students and residents. To produce skilled, compassionate, and dedicated health care professionals instilled with the highest professional and ethical standards, and to advance the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery through research, continuing education, and service to the community.
