Our mission is bring together the sophisticated audience in search of outstanding taste with the finest taste creators and producers, by identifying, evaluating, ranking and promoting experiences [restaurants, wines]. 3 guides were launched on the local market so far: - The 2018 Gault&Millau Guide to Restaurants | 141 restaurante & POP in 6 cities (Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, Timisoara, Oradea, Brasov, Sibiu) and several Special Destinations - The 2019 Gault&Millau Guide to Romanian Wines | 152 wines from 63 wineries across the country - The 2019 Gault&Millau Guide to Restaurants | 275 restaurants & POP in 15 cities (Bucharest, Arad, Bacau, Braila, Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Constanta & Litoral, Craiova, Galati, Iasi, Oradea, Pitesti, Ploiesti, Sibiu, Timisoara) and several Special Destinations Starting from these first editions, Gault&Millau has become an essential reference for both the chef community, restaurant & winery owners and managers, as well as the entire gastronomy community in Romania. _____ The Guide was first published in France more than 50 years ago by 2 journalists – Henri Gault and Christian Millau. Throughout the years the Guide gained international success, being currently present in 20 countries over 6 continents. Due to the comparability of the scores between all the Gault&Millau countries as well as the usage of international methodology and standards, the Romanian gastronomy was placed in an international context, while also being promoted to international consumers.
