Golestan University as one of the major and validated center of Higher Education is located in the north part of Iran. Despite of the short and new establishment of Golestan University, It has received various Honours in the scientific and cultural field of studies This university has four faculties including Natural sciences, Arts and Humanities, technical and engineering of Gorgan and technical and engineering of Aliabad Now, more than 3200 students at 3 Post- Diploma courses, 28 B.A. courses, 15 M.A. courses and 4 Ph.D. courses are involved in studying It also has 100 academic members who are busy in teaching The major purpose of its establishment is to provide a scientific environment for developing the new idea, privileging the consistent learning, expanding the technical and engineering courses and making concentration on the basic principles of education and research in the region
