Four stores are operated under the Edge of the World retail brand in the Lake District, North Yorkshire and Peak District National Parks. Two franchise stores are operated under the Joules brand and one under the Weird Fish brand. Edge of the World has a long and successful track record creating fabulous franchise stores for major brands, including Karrimor, Trespass, Timberland and |The North Face. Edge of the World is a privately owned independent family business. The owners Adrian and Julie North have been retailing for over 30 years. Unlike the majority of high street retail names Edge of the World has no external borrowings, providing financial security to the business and job security to our staff. Our employees are an integral part of our business. We believe it is important to enjoy being at work and provide a caring environment which treats people as valued individuals.
