The Richmond County School System, located in historic Augusta, Georgia, is home to over 32,000 students in 57 schools, making it the 10th largest school district in Georgia. With over 4,000 employees, RCSS is the third largest employer in Augusta-Richmond County. RCSS boasts having the oldest public school in the south and 5th oldest public high school in America. Several RCSS schools are on the National Register of Historic places.
