Kids to Love
www.kidstolove.orgKids to Love is a 501(c)(3) approved Foundation. Since incorporation in 2004, the Kids to Love Foundation has met the needs of more than 265,000 children living in foster care. Our first commitment is to find forever families for foster children, and we are working to create those lifelong bonds by recruiting adoptive parents and sharing with the Tennessee Valley stories of children waiting to be adopted. We have been able to help 300 children across Alabama find forever families. The reality is that many of these children will not find a family, but that does not mean they have failed. Kids to Love helps them succeed through four educational programs, including career opportunities. Our simplest pledge is a backpack filled with school supplies. Each summer, we equip more than 5,000 foster children in Alabama and Tennessee for their new school year. In the spring, we celebrate with graduating high school seniors by awarding college scholarships so their career dreams can become reality. Since 2005, the Kids to Love Foundation has awarded 553 scholarships. In 2016, we launched KTECH, offering Advanced Manufacturing training to young adults living in foster care along with residents of the Huntsville/Madison County area. In 2018, our KTECH curriculum expanded to include soldering and robotics classes. Students enrolled in KTECH also participate in our LifeLab, which develops and promotes life skills. Kids to Love Foundation is an active member of the following community initiatives: Huntsville / Madison County Chamber of Commerce Decatur/Morgan County Chamber of Commerce Madison Chamber of Commerce Leadership Huntsville / Madison County
