Two kids in the average U.S. classroom have food allergies, a potentially life-threatening medical condition associated with decreased quality of in-school life. To help make schools safer, more inclusive environments for food-allergic children, SAFE visits schools to provide comprehensive food allergy education for students and school staff. SAFE’s curriculum gives schools the tools they need to prevent in-school allergic reactions, respond to anaphylactic emergencies, and minimize food allergy bullying.
