Podback is a coffee pod recycling service. Created in partnership with the biggest names in coffee pod systems, Nespresso, NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto and Tassimo, to give people who enjoy the quality and taste of coffee pods simple and easy ways to recycle them. Launched in April 2021, it's the first of its kind in the UK. Through Podback, consumers can recycle their Tassimo, L’OR, Nespresso, Nescafé Gusto, Starbucks by Nespresso, Starbucks by Nescafé Dolce Gusto, Cru Kafe, Allpress Espresso, Colonna Coffee, Café Palmieri by Jomad Coffee and Artisan Coffee Co. coffee pods. To use the service, consumers can take their used pods to any Collect+ drop-off point in local stores across the UK. In participating local council districts, consumers can also have their pods collected alongside their regular household recycling. Podback’s mission is clear: To create a world where every coffee pod enjoyed is recycled.
