Impact Society
www.impactsociety.comTogether we can create a world where every youth has the tools they need to live a flourishing life. The Impact Society is a Canadian non-profit and national leader in youth character development & mental wellbeing. Since 1994, we've served over 200,000 young people and educators through our strength-based Heroes programs. The Heroes Programs Include: - Heroes (designed for grades 7-9) - Heroes 2 (designed for grades 10-12) - Heroes are Warriors (our signature Heroes program with Indigenous Contextualization) - Heroes at Home (designed for the parents of Heroes) The Heroes programs move youth from at-risk to at-potential by building their strengths, resilience, and decision-making skills. This provides a greater sense of identity for the students, with the ability to navigate life’s challenges with greater confidence. Research shows that building positive capacity in youth requires four dimensions of strength-based learning: 1. Feeling 2. Thought 3. Behaviour 4. Conviction Heroes implements these dimensions by making students feel valued and safe, inspiring them to foster their own motivational thoughts and to think optimistically about their future.
