mapWizard it's a young project that uses geospatial data and open source technology together with GIS skills to create interactive maps. We combine the power of GIS with the convenience of Cloud infrastructure to deliver geospatial content and information directly to you. This translates into creating smart maps that help you locate your information, display it in an attractive manner, make the information easy to access and easy to use. Our aim is to use as much as possible open source technology like: - Leaflet, OpenLayers - as APIs to displaying geo-spatial data; - PostgreSQL to store, query and analyse geo-spatial data; - Turf.js, a great JavaScript library that helps create spatial analysis in browser; - Quantum GIS to edit, query, analyse geo-spatial data. - Apache as web server; - Ubuntu as operating system We also use cloud platforms like: - CARTO, to store, query and analyse geo-spatial data; - DigitalOcean for their cloud services in the area of hosting servers. mapWizard has expertise in webmapping, GIS, spatial analysis, remote sensing.
