Kutes was founded in 1986 by Mehmet Bekir Kutmangil. During this period, he established Kutes Madencilik and carried out subcontracting activities for coal mining in İstanbul. In 1990 Bekir Kutmangil decided to embark on a new venture and started an iron casting foundry investment in the province of Tekirdağ/Çorlu. In 1992, Kutes Döküm produced its first casting. In 2016, Kutes decided to expand its operations and started a machining facility investment. In 2017 the company established Kutes Makine and removed its first cips. In 2022 Kutes published its first GRI verified sustainability report and set a green production target by 2033. The company established Kutes Enerji and started to invest in establishing a solar power plant with a total power of 26 Mwp in the provinces of Kirklareli and Edirne. -The New Iron Age- At Kutes we consider our work to be more than just gray and nodular iron casting, machining or assembly. In order to fulfill our responsibilities to our customers, our community and the future generations, here at Kutes we are working tirelessly towards building “The New Iron Age” at our Tekirdağ Çorlu facility. We have joined our 30 years of experience with more than 350 employees to bring the best products and experience to our costumers. We are located approximately 100 kilometers outside of Istanbul, with 151.000 square meter facility space where 30.000 of which is being used as closed/indoor space.
