Bezirk Oberpfalz is a non-for-profit, self-administering body funding public welfare and educational institutions within the boundaries of the District of Upper Palatinate in Bavaria. Its work is overseen by an elected steering board, the District Diet, which is elected for a five years term by the citizens of Upper Palatinate. District Administration is headed by the President of the District Diet.
