Who we are Our Health Insurance was founded in 1892. We are recognized by the Federal Department for Social Insurance and subject to the law governing insurance against illness (KVG) and to the law on insurance contracts (VVG). We are a society in the legal sense, as defined by the Civil Code. We are a medium-sized Company Health Fund in Switzerland. Over 40,000 people are insured with us. The activity territory includes the whole of Switzerland and seven European countries (Austria, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands and Portugal) and United Kingdom according to the agreement on freedom of movement between Switzerland and the European Union. What we offer Worldwide insurance cover against illness and accident (including loss of salary insurance) under advantageous conditions. Our comprehensive services are guaranteed by a team of 43 employees equipped with EDP facilities.
