“Officine di Seregno” was founded in 1922 by the current owner's grandfather with the activity of the quality fusion of cast iron and aluminum for the automotive and engineering industry until the end of the '40. Just after the war a workshop for the manufacturing of sheet-metalworking machines, thus becoming “Officine e Fonderie di Seregno” where under the name "Picchiottini" were thereby produced shears, press brakes, beading and special machines, while as "CEI" lifts and hoist production. In the 70’ in the foundry began the production of pulleys in cast iron and in a short time the production of blocks for the lifting started. At the end of 1997, “Officine e Fonderie di Seregno” moved to larger and more functional premises and in the following year the ISO 9001 certification was obtained. In 2001 O.F.S Srl was established and dedicated to the design and construction of terminal blocks and lifting. In a few years the production of swivel, heads of special cranes, trolleys, and angular movement of heavy loads, have been joined. Recently a new department for the "refitting" of used blocks has been opened. During 2022 our 54,000° hook block has been delivered and this important milestone has inspired us to further improve our environmental protection policy, thus obtaining the ISO 14000. Currently, O.F.S. S.r.l is known by all the national manufacturers of cranes as a reliable and professional partner designing and manufacturing high quality products at competitive prices.
