Back in 2004, Bernie Butler was introduced to sprouted seeds and was blown away by their phenomenal food value. With a history in the food industry, Bernie felt compelled to make sprouted seeds available to everyone and so, the idea (or seed!!) was planted and Good4U was born with the help of daughters Laura, Michelle and son Karol. Today, Good4U create, market and sell a diverse, innovative and nutritious range of products across nine European markets and are on the shelves of some of the largest retail chains in the world. The range includes Salad Toppers (sprouted seeds and naturally flavoured, roasted seeds & pulses), Breakfast Toppers (delicious, naturally flavoured seeds mixed with juicy fruits), Nutritious Snacks (naturally flavoured pulses, seed & dried fruit shots and Energy Balls) and Kids Snacks (Mini Energy Balls). Good4U products are produced in BRC ‘AA’ Accredited factories in Sligo and Tyrone in Ireland. All products are free-from added sugar, nuts, gluten and dairy whilst always offering extra nutritional benefits, validated by their team of dietitians and nutritionists. Good4U pride themselves on taking a “No Junk” approach to their food & snacks and include only 100% natural ingredients without compromising on taste. The ever-expanding product development team work continuously on developing innovative healthy products to meet the shifting demands and trends of a dynamic market. There is an array of product innovations on the horizon and they are continuously coming up with new ideas and flavours to add to the portfolio. The Origin Green approved company was named “Exporter of the Year 2018” at Ireland’s SFA Awards having successfully entered 9 markets across the globe so far including Ireland, UK, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, UAE and Sweden. Plans are in place to reach the Scandinavia and USA markets by 2019.
