Katiba Institute (KI) was established to promote the understanding and implementation of Kenya’s new Constitution. KI began operations in 2011 and works all around Kenya on projects that span the following core practice areas: • Understanding the Constitution • Implementation of the Constitution • Promoting & Understanding the New Constitution • Research on topical Constitutional Issues • Education on the Constitution KI is dedicated to improving implementation and understanding of the constitution by Research, Publication and Public Interest Litigation in partnership with donor agencies, Governments, and Non-Governmental Institutions.
