Adelante Estudiantes Latinos is a student driven organization based out of Buffalo State College. We were founded on 1973, and have years promoting and enriching the Latino student body at Buffalo State. Although we are Latino driven, we are not Latino exclusive, we welcome all students and seek to incorporate cultural awareness in our doings. We were created in efforts to recognize the diversity among the Latino community and Latinos in higher education. During the academic year, we conduct a wide range of events on a weekly basis that vary from community services, panel discussions, networking events, and inclusive discussions. We are funded by the mandatory student activity fee and our services are free. All executive board members serve for one year, unless they go up for re-election. This LinkedIn was created in efforts to connect individuals who have served on the AEL executive board together to potentially establish a growing network. Additionally, to serve as a support resource for those who have served on the executive board and give recognition to their accomplishments.
