We work in partnership with local authorities, the waste management industry and the wider metal packaging sector to develop and stimulate the UK’s collection infrastructure specifically for aluminium packaging. We also manage and run consumer information and education campaigns to encourage participation in recycling schemes. Alupro acts as the voice of the industry on issues of government policy and legislative development. Our broad knowledge of the aluminium recycling sector and deep understanding of domestic and European policy issues means we are ideally placed to serve our members and to offer advice and support on a range of issues. Our membership comprises the full spectrum of the aluminium packaging ‘loop’. As a result we are uniquely placed to represent the industry to policy makers and opinion formers, both in the UK and Europe.
