The Arka Initiative is an effort to provide tangible and practical support to men and women on issues surrounding sexual and reproductive health. It is led by a group of young people who bring fresh perspective and clear objectives to the table, and are backed by professionals who have demonstrated a strong commitment to service and prowess in their respective fields of work. Our goal is to create a safe space for communication and to be a catalyst for the greater realisation of sexual and reproductive healthcare in Sri Lanka. We truly believe that access to safe and well-informed sexual and reproductive health services is a basic right and it is our hope that both men and women will have greater access and greater knowledge through our work.
