Ensemble Cymru is a classical music ensemble with the ability to promote a wide range of performances from the intimacy of a recital duo to a 27-piece chamber orchestra. Specializing in taking high quality performances of live music to disadvantaged communities and schools across north Wales, its goal is to develop a national touring circuit and undertake a tour in Europe in 2020 promoting Wales’ heritage and history through its programmes of Chamber Music of Wales. Ensemble Cymru, a charity and limited company, has its offices at Bangor University where it is resident ensemble. The Ensemble will celebrate its tenth anniversary in 2011-2012.
