Underdog Productions is the first true transmedia company in South Africa, which since 1993 has produced world-class television and crossmedia experiences. The companies founder Marc Schwinges is well respected in South Africa’s independent production sector and is Consultant to the SA Screen Federation. Underdog has produced a substantial volume of award-winning work, which has been seen the world over. Highlights include the documentaries Death, Metamorphosis, Two Moms, Black Beulahs, Flush, several years Woman of the Year Awards and the travel-doc series Rough or Smooth. Underdog is in development on a drama series, a feature documentary, and a Pan-African transmedia project.
