The Papal Foundation serves the Holy Father and the Roman Catholic Church through faith, energy and financial resources, addressing Pope Francis’ priorities to build the Church, educate and prepare leaders, and care for the most vulnerable people, young and old, around the world. Since 1990, the Foundation has provided over $175 million in grants and scholarships. In 2020, Foundation grants supported more than 100 programs identified by the Holy Father in 59 countries.
