20 Groups for the Marine Industry – 20 Groups are gatherings of up to 20 non-competing marine dealer principals who, after agreeing to confidentiality, compare their financial information in a common format. The members share their experiences and best practices in an effort to help each other obtain a much higher level of professionalism and profitability. A 20 Group meets three times per year for 2 ½ days, rotating the meetings among the members’ locations. Being in a 20 Group helps to keep you on the “pulse” of the industry and your business. You get a “heads up” on what is happening sometimes 6 months before those who are not in a 20 Group.
