EMPOWERED is a comprehensive program that teaches young minds how to have a winner's mindset to help them happily achieve by teaching valuable personal and professional life skills. Subjects taught for personal development include: building self-confidence, how to have a positive body image, how to become an optimist & positive thinker, setting & achieving goals, choosing the right role models, and giving back & gratitude. Subjects for professional development include: professional writing, public speaking, effective listening, non-verbal communication, and the art of negotiation. We emphasize the two cornerstones of “teach” and “bond,” which works well hand in hand. We not only teach through courses and workshops, but we also have a membership club, the "EMPOWERED 20/20 Club" where our students bond with each other and develop a strong network of like-minded friends and with the mentors. We organize social outings to fun spots around the city, hold an Empower-Hour afternoon tea, offer a monthly Newsletter, and provide charity work opportunities where our students can get valuable volunteer experience and learn the importance of giving back to their communities!
