The whole idea was originally under the name of Hinterviews, but someone had that already. I wanted to make sure that people who I know that are great artists, who are maybe not as well known as they should be, are helped to get their name out there. I love to find out people’s viewpoints, and one of my favourite shows was Inside The Actor’s Studio ... especially the Bernard Pivot questions at the end. I wanted to help others but in the act of interviewing being completely invisible. To enable this I made a guess at the questions that would best allow me to dig into an artist’s creative process and to find out what they were currently working on. I designed the questionnaire that fuels what became Intoviews. I am into views, or viewpoints, and I love puns, so I came up with Intoviews.
