Magnus manages our own and investor’s funds created to bring capital, turnaround and management expertise to non-core units of established companies, business yet to realize their full potential, and underperforming, and even distressed companies. Magnus believes there is value in “partnership” and long-term relationships. We seek to work with the current holders of debt and equity interests in underperforming companies. Where it is economically viable, we seek to share the rewards with them so they can recover prior investments and losses. Turnaround investments are a team effort. Every team member brings a strategic skill, technical knowledge, or tactical know-how. We spend significant time and effort developing a full understanding of the levers of value creation and risk mitigation in a prospective investment.
