ABOUT Project Backup is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping injured law enforcement officers and their families. Founded May 21st, 2021, our goal is to provide financial assistance and other family support needs to injured officers or to families if they lose their loved one in the line of duty. We understand the sleepless nights, the endless hours waiting to get a call or text, and the seamlessly unstoppable anxiety that your loved one may not come home that day; they are real fears that many families have. So, if something does happen, we want to be there. We can provide funds to help with things like monthly bills, unforeseen new expenses, miscellaneous family accommodations, and even college grants and scholarships.
