Nu Terra Labs is an innovative Canadian company focused on enhancing access to food in the circular economy. Nu Terra Labs is developing machine learning/AI enhanced systems to help automate greenhouses and vertical farms. Through these systems, Nu Terra Labs is helping to reduce cost and resource usage while optimizing crop growth and quality. Currently Nu Terra Labs offers a control system using heuristic parameters to monitor and adjust environmental conditions for plant health. Monitoring is currently available for air/water temperature, pH levels, nutrient levels, water levels and flow, lighting conditions, and associated scheduled activities. Actuation is available to dose nutrients and pH, adjust water levels, execute lighting schedules, and execute air flow/fan schedules for environment adjustments.
