The Instituto Distrital de Patrimonio Cultural (IDPC) is a public entity that executes policies, plans and projects for the effective exercise of the patrimonial and cultural rights of the inhabitants of Bogota and also protects, intervenes, researches, promotes and disseminates the material cultural heritage and immaterial of the city. It is an institution attached to the Secretaría de Cultura, Recreación y Deporte (SCRD), with legal status, independent assets and administrative and financial autonomy.
