econ.uconn.eduThe Department of Economics at the University of Connecticut is home to over 1,000 undergraduate majors pursuing BA and BS degrees, and approximately 70 graduate students in our Ph.D. and Master of Science in Quantitative Economics (MSQE) programs. We are proud of our alumni and their success after graduation. Many of our undergraduate students have gone on to careers in insurance, banking, and government at the state and federal levels. Our Masters graduates have distinguished themselves in business, government, and the Ph.D. programs they have joined. Numerous colleges and universities in the region and around the world are staffed with faculty who received their doctorate degrees from our department.
