Digital Luthier
www.digitalluthier.comSince the mid-‘90s Digital Luthier has been working on devising and developing prototypes. Nowadays, it runs different projects which, along with its team of craftsmen, engineers, IT crew and sonologists, constitute the first company born in the XXI century with the clear goal of satisfying musicians' and artists' demands through the creation of custom made control systems. We manufacture non classical instruments (although sometimes we turn them up a notch), that are adapted to the current times and mostly combine computing and electronics. Plastic, wood, metal and fiber are the basis of all of our creations. Everything is perfectly integrated by our team of artisans that work on shaping the instrument until obtaining the final piece, awarding it exclusiveness and, above all, versatility. We always start from scratch. This process of manufacture is mostly handmade, with each one built on previously developed studies and calculations, in order to conceive an instrument that is exclusive, personalized and truly adaptable to the musician that ordered the project. For each of our customers we provide a study of their movements, routines and “obsessions” in order to obtain the data that will help us to manufacture the desired personalized equipment. We design and develop systems that allow the musician or artist to reach the highest limits of their expression, which are not so easy to get with other tools or instruments. Our company owns several invention patents in fields in which we are pioneers, such as instrumentation and technology. Thanks to that, we can apply customized and avant-garde solutions for our clients. We use the highest quality materials in the making of our devices, because only by doing that can we acquire exceptional results. We have at our disposal our own programming technology to adapt our electronic systems to the standard market demands. We hope that you will be enjoying your customized tool soon.
