In the early 90s, through the strength and expertise of its people, the company has sustained its business success by further differentiating itself in the field of renewable energy.  Nowadays the De Sanctis Group has three main divisions: construction, real estate and energy The first one operates through the De Sanctis Costruzioni S.p.A that is a leading company in Italy in the transport sector, especially roadways, bridges and tunnels and underground constructions (one of the most challenging sectors in the field of engineering) as well as in the field of civil residential construction, restoration of monumental buildings and recovery interventions, renovation and redevelopment Its operations also embrace railway, airport, hydraulic, hydroelectric and at sea works including consolidation and care of land interventions. The second division is the De Sanctis Real Estate. This division identifies the opportunities of development of new both residential and commercial complexes (offices, factories, retail and entertainment) by monitoring the development of zoning plans. Then, it handles relations with the Public Authorities, aimed at obtaining planning and building approval required for the implementation of the single developments. The mission of this division is to manage all phases of either the planning and construction or the acquisition and  value-enhancement process of real estate investments. Moreover, DSRE manages acquisitions of real estate assets for both residential and commercial purposes with a view to placing them on the market once having renovated and up-graded them. The Energy Division of the De Sanctis Group operates in the sector of clean energy and, mainly, in that of energy produced by hydroelectric sources, through the purchase, construction, activation, and management of small hydroelectric power plants at a regional level.
